Day 1

Arrival in Windhoek

Upon arrival in Windhoek, meet your driver at the airport. After a warm welcome, transfer to your hotel. In the evening, meet your Tour Leader at 17:00 for a pre-departure briefing and local payment collection.

Day 2

Windhoek to Etosha National Park

Early breakfast before departing for Etosha. A long drive today, so we’ll enjoy our lunch en route and arrive at the lodge in the evening. Enjoy your first African sunset by the pool with a cold local beer.

Day 3

Full Day in Etosha National Park

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive across Etosha’s famous salt pans and waterholes. With luck, encounter lions, elephants, rhinos, and more. We stop at a picnic site for lunch before continuing into the evening.

Day 4

Inside Etosha National Park

Today we move deeper into the park. Morning game drive en route to your next lodge inside the reserve. After lunch, enjoy a relaxed afternoon before heading out on an evening game drive.

Day 5

Etosha to Windhoek

We drive back to Windhoek after breakfast, with lunch en route. Evening at leisure with an optional dinner at the famous Joe's Beerhouse (own cost, reservation recommended).

Day 6

Windhoek to the Kalahari, Botswana

Early departure into Botswana, crossing via the Trans-Kalahari border. Stop in Ghanzi for refreshments before continuing to your lodge. Optional Bushman nature walk and cultural dance experience in the evening.

Day 7

Kalahari to Maun

After breakfast, head to Maun – the tourism capital of Botswana. Arrive for lunch, check in, and go shopping for supplies for the upcoming Delta excursion.

Day 8

Okavango Delta Expedition

Today is all about nature. Head into the Delta by vehicle and Mokoro canoe. Explore the region on guided nature walks and enjoy birdwatching and game sightings in a pristine setting.

Day 9

Kalahari to Maun

Start the day with a sunrise nature walk, then return to the Mokoros and float back downstream. Arrive in Maun by midday, enjoy lunch and relax. Evening outing into town for dinner and exploration.Overnight: Swamp Stop Okavango River Camp or similarMeals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 10

Maun to Elephant Sands (Nata)

Drive to Nata with lunch en route. Arrive at the legendary Elephant Sands Lodge, where elephants often gather at the waterhole just metres away.

Day 11

Nata to Chobe National Park

Continue to Kasane, with a stop in town for supplies. After lunch, depart for an evening game drive in Chobe National Park.Overnight: Thebe River Lodge or similar

Optional: Boat Ride at Lake Naivasha – $30 per person

Day 12

Chobe National Park

Start with a morning game drive, then return for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy an optional Chobe River safari famous for its elephants, hippos, and stunning views. Followed by an evening game drive.Overnight: Thebe River Lodge or similar

Day 13

Chobe to Victoria Falls

Cross into Zimbabwe and arrive in Victoria Falls around midday. After check-in, your guide will help plan optional activities like bungee jumping, gorge swing or a sunset cruise.Overnight: The Explorer Village (Shearwater) or similarMeals: Breakfast

Day 14

End of Tour / Optional Extension

After breakfast, transfer to the international airport for your return flight. For those continuing on the East Africa extension, one additional night is included before departing northward a day later.Meals: Breakfast
